Account details — your name and email address when you create an account, and a securely hashed password.
Order details — the pieces you buy, your delivery address, phone number, gift messages and order history.
Payment — card and wallet payments (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by BARAKAT.
Enquiries — information you share with our concierge, in the contact form, appointment requests, trade-in and bespoke requests.
Usage — pages viewed, the general source of your visit and device type, used to improve the store. We do not sell this information.
To process and deliver your orders, provide your account, wishlist and store credit, answer your enquiries, prevent fraud, and — only if you agree — send you news about new collections. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Only with the service providers who help us run the store: Stripe (payments), Supabase (secure database and sign-in), Hostinger (website hosting and email) and our insured courier partners for delivery. Each is bound to protect your data. We may disclose information where required by UAE law.
We use your browser’s local storage to keep your bag, wishlist, language and sign-in session, and anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, traffic source, device and country) to improve the store. Choose “Essential only” in the cookie notice to switch the statistics off. We do not use advertising cookies without your consent.
We keep order records as long as required for accounting and warranty purposes, and account data until you ask us to delete your account.
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent to marketing, by writing to info@barakatjewlery.com. We will respond within 30 days, in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
Your data is encrypted in transit, payments are handled by PCI-compliant Stripe, and access to customer data is restricted to authorised BARAKAT staff.
We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version.
